"Building Homes - Welcoming Opportunities"

What is "Building Homes - Welcoming Opportunities" all about? The Arc of the Quad Cities Area is building new group homes in the Quad Cities and needs your help to make it happen. We have a mission to build new homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live inclusively in our community. Our greatest goal is to invite the community to engage with individuals with disabilities, to value their contributions and include these individuals in all aspects of community life. Our approach is two pronged. To build homes and to build community. Because when we create welcoming communities, we create opportunities for everyone.

Everyone deserves to live full, self determined lives. A home is the medium which all people have access to the amenities that make the Quad Cities a great place to live. We can create a welcoming place for everyone to live.
